Job summary

The Progeny Group Limited seeks a Paraplanner in Nottingham to support Financial Planners with research, analysis, and client file preparation. You will handle in-depth analysis, funds and cashflow modeling, and produce compliant reports for client reviews.

You will develop technical expertise, pursue the Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning, and explore progression to Financial Planner within a collaborative Paraplanning Centre of Excellence.

Qualifications

• Financial services experience with FCA principles and regulatory standards.
• Excellent writing skills for suitability reports and documentation.
• Exemplary communication and relationship building to support clients and planners.
• Collaborative approach with Financial Planners and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Research and analysis to identify suitable solutions; present cashflow modelling.
• Prepare suitability letters and reports for reviews and new business.
• Liaise with providers to obtain information on investments.
• Understand client objectives, risk attitudes, and capacity for loss.
• Prepare client files for review meetings and maintain compliance.
• Follow FCA rules and procedures; uphold integrity in conduct.
• Share knowledge, peer reviews, and support colleagues.
• Maintain product and technical knowledge through CPD.
