Job summary

Seven Investment Management is seeking a Level 1 Paraplanner to support advisers with standard advice cases, including new wrappers, pensions, ISAs and GIA transfers, and investment top-ups. You will articulate recommendations clearly, ensure suitability for client circumstances, and maintain regulatory and internal quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in report writing is essential.
• Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience as a Level 1 Paraplanner.
• Product knowledge of pensions, bonds and other wrappers.
• Good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel.

Responsibilities

• Create clear standard advice reports covering new wrappers, pension, ISA and GIA transfers, and investment top-ups.
• Carry out detailed research and cash flow modelling to support financial planning recommendations.
• Assist with accurate financial calculations, including CGT and cost comparisons.
• Provide support and guidance to Level 1 Paraplanners and take ownership of SoS, withdrawal and fund switch recommendations.
• Ensure timely delivery of client communications, emails, letters, and reports.
• Mentor and train Client Service Associates to ensure high standards of client service.
• Manage workloads to deliver the best client experience and maintain compliance in Xplan.
• Liaise with accountants, lawyers, and service providers as needed for mutual clients.
