Job Title: Paraplanner

Location: Preston

Full-time: Monday – Friday.

Overview:

I am supporting a growing, reputable IFA (Independent Financial Adviser) practice in Preston with an excellent opportunity for either an accomplished Paraplanner or a Trainee Paraplanner looking to climb the ranks.

If you have experience in Financial Planning and are looking for a new challenge in a supportive and dynamic team environment, they would love to hear from you.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working within the Financial Planning/Wealth Management industry as a paraplanner.
• Strong working knowledge of financial services products, including Pensions, Investments, ISAs, and Protection policies.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Highly organised with the ability to work to deadlines and manage your own workload effectively.
• A team player, with a willingness to assist colleagues when needed.
• Previous experience in writing suitability reports is essential.
• If not already qualified to Diploma level, you will need to be part-qualified or motivated to progress further.
• Experience using Intelligent Office and Selectapension is advantageous.

Job Duties:

• Produce professional suitability reports tailored to individual clients.
• Prepare file documentation for meetings and assist with existing business administration.
• Conduct specific product, provider, and fund research.
• Assist administrators during busy periods, ensuring smooth team coordination.
• Handle other administrative duties, including:
• Submitting new business applications.
• Producing quotations.
• Liaising with providers and clients.
• Chasing outstanding pipeline cases.
• Following up on outstanding fees.
