Job summary

Financial Divisions in Guildford is seeking a seasoned Senior Paraplanner to join a wealth planning practice serving private and corporate clients. The role sits in a pod with full training on processes; essential knowledge across Pensions, Investments, IHT, Trusts and cashflow modelling; Level 4 Diploma is required, with Intelligent Office CRM experience being advantageous.

Role is office-based with potential light WFH after onboarding; salary £50k-£58k, plus 25 days holiday, DIS and private

Qualifications

My client is a wealth planning practice based outside Guildford who have been operating for 15+ years and I have placed 5 members of staff into the business. They have an excellent reputation providing very solid financial advice to both private and corporate clients who lives in Surrey, Sussex & Hampshire. They have a large book of business (close to £300m AUM) who are City professionals, families, retirees, and business owners with £500k to invest with their top client holding £20m+ to invest. This boutique firm has a team of Chartered Advisers and a full administrative and paraplanning team.

The Managing Director is seeking a brand new experienced Senior Paraplanner. The business operates in a pod structure and one of the senior advisers is looking for Senior Career Paraplanner to work in his pod. Full training will be provided on their processes and systems but a broad range of experience and knowledge across a Pensions, Investments, IHT, Trusts, cashflow modelling etc will be essential. Knowledge of Intelligent Office CRM would be highly advantageous.

The role will be office based but there may be the prospect to WFH a bit once you're established in the business. The level4 diploma will be essential, ff you are sitting any exams towards their Chartered status then the Directors will support you with your studies but what qualifications you have is not a deal breaker, experience rather than exams is more important. The management team place a lot of emphasis on staff wellbeing and team rapport and regularly enjoy company socials and trips away as well as supporting.

The MD is looking to offer £50k - £58k basic salary, possibly more for the right candidate with an attractive benefits package including 25 days holiday, DIS and private medical cover.
