Qualifications

• Experience working as a paraplanner within a financial planning or wealth management environment.
• Strong technical knowledge across pensions and investments.
• Confidence producing high quality suitability reports.
• Good report writing and written communication skills.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to manipulate spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Prepare suitability reports and recommendation letters across pensions, investments, protection, trusts and estate planning.
• Conduct technical research to support client recommendations and financial planning strategies.
• Work closely with advisers to deliver tailored financial planning solutions.
• Support ongoing client review work and servicing requirements.
• Produce and maintain detailed spreadsheets, calculations and client planning documentation.
• Maintain accurate client records and workflows.
• Liaise with product providers and obtain information required for advice recommendations.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with regulatory and compliance standards.

You'll work closely with experienced advisers and senior support staff, playing an integral role in delivering high quality financial planning advice.
