Job summary

IDEX Consulting Ltd. is partnering with a growing wealth management business in South Wales to recruit an experienced Paraplanner.

You can choose to work from the Cardiff hub or be fully remote, joining a team of Financial Advisers, Paraplanners and Administrators. You will produce detailed suitability reports, perform technical research, and support client-focused financial planning solutions while maintaining high standards of compliance and quality.

Qualifications

• Paraplanner with strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments and financial planning.
• Excellent research, analytical and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed, accurate and compliant suitability reports.
• Conduct technical research across pensions, investments and planning solutions.

The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Paraplanner who takes pride in their technical expertise, enjoys working collaboratively and wants to make a genuine difference to the quality of financial advice clients receive.
You'll work closely with Financial Advisers, supporting the delivery of high-quality, personalised financial planning solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Producing detailed, accurate and compliant suitability reports
• Undertaking technical research across pensions, investments and financial planning solutions
• Working alongside Financial Advisers to develop appropriate client recommendations
• Supporting complex financial planning cases and ensuring excellent client outcomes
• Maintaining high standards of compliance, accuracy and attention to detail
• Collaborating with colleagues across the wider financial planning business

What We're Looking For

You'll ideally have:

• Previous experience working as a Paraplanner
• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent
• Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments and financial planning
• Excellent research, analytical and report-writing skills
• The confidence to work independently while contributing to a wider team
• A genuine interest in developing your career within a growing business
