Job summary

IDEX Consulting is seeking a proactive Paraplanner to join our Wealth Management team in Blackburn. Hybrid working and full exam support are offered to help you grow your paraplanning career while supporting advisers and clients.

You will research products, funds and solutions, prepare client reports and suitability documents, and assist in compliance and workflow improvements, in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Level 4 Qualified (or close to completion)
• Proactive and detail-driven approach to paraplanning
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks

Responsibilities

• Support advisers in wealth management for clients including business owners, professionals and retirees
• Research products, funds and solutions and prepare client reports
• Prepare suitability reports and highlight areas needing attention
• Assist compliance with presale file checks and maintain controls
• Contribute to business development and departmental efficiency improvements

Job description

My client is currently looking for a proactive, detail-driven Paraplanner to join their team in Blackburn. Whether you're early in your paraplanning journey or bring years of experience, this is your chance to make a real impact-supporting advisers and clients. The company offers hybrid working and full exam support.

As a Paraplanner you'll be at the heart of our client service delivery. You'll work closely with our advisers to help business owners, professionals, and retirees navigate their financial futures.

The Role

• To work as part of the Wealth Management team providing an excellent service to their clients
• Support our advisers in helping clients, many of whom are business owner managers, professionals and retired people, in all aspects of wealth management - planning, tax mitigation, investment strategy and asset protection.
• Specific functions include researching products, funds and solutions, preparing reports for client meetings, highlight areas requiring attention, process new business, prepare suitability reports.
• Assist the compliance officer in maintaining appropriate systems and controls, including compliance projects and presale file checking.
• Play an active part in business development initiatives, looking for ways to improve paraplanning and department efficiencies.
