A wealth planning firm near Bishop's Stortford is seeking a Senior Paraplanner to support two advisers with complex paraplanning cases. Ideal candidates will have over 3 years of experience in the wealth planning sector, preferably working towards Chartered status. Familiarity with financial tools like Intelligent Office, Cashcal, and FE Analytics is a plus. This role offers a chance to work with a strong team focused on providing exceptional service to HNW clients.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in complex paraplanning cases.
• Background in an independent wealth planning firm preferred.
• Experience with funds on Quilter, Transact, AJ Bell is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support 2 advisers and attend client meetings when required.
• Compile advice alongside advisers.

My client are an independent wealth planning firm with offices near Bishops Stortford. They offer whole of market financial advice to HNW retirees, accumulators, local families and SME owners based across Essex, Herts and London. In their current setup they manage the affairs of 300 clients with assets ranging from £250k - £8m. The advisers consult on pensions, investments, tax planning, cashflow modelling, retirement planning, protections, and some esoteric schemes. They have very longstanding relations with a solicitor practice who refer business to them and the advisers are not targeted as they have such a strong belief in ensuring clients received the best service rather than stacking up AUM.

The Managing Director is seeking to recruit a Senior Paraplanner with 3+ year of experience working on complex paraplanning cases ranging from £500k to multiple millions. This role will suit a candidate with a background in an independent wealth planning firm who is preferably considering working towards Chartered status. However, my client will consider someone with a restricted advice background. You will be supporting 2 advisers and on occasion attend client meetings. You will be driven, technically very strong and you will be involved in compiling the advice alongside the advisers. Most of the funds under management are held on Quilter, Transact, AJ Bell amongst others. If you have knowledge of Intelligent Office, Cashcal or FE Analytics this would be helpful
