Job summary

My Client, a well-respected, independent and established firm of Chartered Financial Planning professionals, is looking to recruit a Paraplanner. They have traded for almost two decades and cover London, East Anglia and the South East advising on a whole of market basis.

All levels of experience are welcomed, with hybrid working post-probation based on location and experience. Core duties include writing suitability reports, conducting market research, maintaining CRM records, and handling file

Qualifications

• Experience in writing suitability reports for clients.
• Strong analytical and research skills using market tools.
• Experience with CRM systems and client data management.
• Exposure to paraplanning duties and report preparation.

Responsibilities

• Write suitability reports for clients of the firm’s IFAs; these reports are often of a technical nature.
• Conduct whole of market research via FE Analytics, O&M Pension Profiler, Assureweb and current systems.
• Competently use CRM to ensure client records are kept accurately.
• Complete administrative duties – forms, illustrations, letters and sign‑ups.
• Carry out file reviews and platform work including payments and switches where tax implications exist.

Job description

My Client, a well‑respected, independent and established firm of Chartered Financial Planning professionals are looking to recruit a Paraplanner.

My client has been trading for almost two decades, they are a regional firm currently covering London, East Anglia and the South East advising on a whole of market basis.

All levels of experience will be considered, whether you are a partly qualified administrator with exposure to paraplanning duties such as report writing and research or a level four qualified career paraplanner with several years of experience to bring to the business.

Core Duties

• Write suitability reports for clients of the firm’s IFAs; these reports are often of a technical nature.
• Conduct whole of market research via FE Analytics, O&M Pension Profiler, Assureweb, Firm Due Diligence and current systems.
• Competently use my client’s CRM system to ensure client records are kept accurately.
• Complete administrative duties as and when required – e.g. application forms, illustrations, covering letters and sign‑up packs.
• Carry out file reviews.
• Perform platform work – wizards, setting clients up and arranging payments and switches where there are tax implications involved.
• Ensure clients are correctly invested every time.
• Adhere to consumer duty principles and the delivery of correct client outcomes.
• Carry out client contact when required.
• Assist with IC project work.
• Carry out adhoc project work when required.
