Job summary

Teesside University is seeking a Lecturer Teaching Scholarship and Professional Practice in Paramedic Practice within the School of Health & Life Sciences. The postholder must be an HCPC Registered Paramedic with post-registration clinical experience in pre-hospital and emergency care.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered paramedic with post-registration clinical experience.
• Experience of practice-based education or supervision of students in practice settings.
• Willing to achieve a Teaching Qualification within two years of appointment (PGCLTHE or HEA accreditation).

Responsibilities

• Teach, research, and engage in knowledge exchange within the Department of Nursing, Midwifery and Paramedic Practice.
• Contribute to teaching, scholarship, professional practice, and related administration.
• Support undergraduate and postgraduate paramedic education through practice-based learning.
