Qualifications

• Must be HCPC registered Paramedic with post-registration clinical experience.
• Postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in practice-based education or supervision of students.
• Willingness to achieve Teaching Qualification within two years of appointment (PGCLTHE or HEA accreditation).
• DBS disclosure required as part of clearance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to teaching, research, knowledge exchange and enterprise in the Department of Nursing, Midwifery and Paramedic Practice.
• Contextualise contemporary pre-hospital practice within undergraduate and postgraduate paramedic education.
• Provide supervision of students in practice settings.
• Engage in professional practice activities and administrative duties as part of the role.
