Job description

Our client is a well-established, growing law firm seeking a Paralegal - Residential Conveyancing based in Northampton on a full-time permanent basis. You will also need a full UK driving license and access to a car at all times.

Summary of the Paralegal - Residential Conveyancing role

Salary: up to GBP28,000 per annum dependent upon experience
Location: Northampton - 100% office based
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full time Monday - Friday, 9am - 5:30pm

Responsibilities of the Paralegal - Residential Conveyancing

• Review and advise on client files covering a wide range of property matters.
• Draft documentation and correspondence relating to property matters.
• Prepare reports and complete relevant forms and searches.
• Handle exchange of contracts, completions, and ancillary documents.
• Travel to other offices as appropriate.

Requirements for a successful Paralegal - Residential Conveyancing

• Professional legal qualification preferred.
• Substantial residential property experience essential.
• Ability to manage own caseload.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with confidence communicating at senior level.
• Strong drafting and proofreading skills.
• Well organized with excellent time management.
• Strong attention to detail.
