Job summary
Tees Valley Combined Authority is seeking a proactive legal services assistant to support the delivery of high‑quality legal services across the organisation. You will work closely with the Lawyers and wider legal team, providing legal and administrative support to help ensure the organisation delivers its strategic objectives in a lawful, effective and well‑governed way.

Qualifications
- Law degree or 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience in a legal, governance, administrative or professional support environment.
- Strong organisational and written and verbal communication skills.
- Good IT skills, including case management systems and MS Office.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal and administrative support to the Legal Services team.
- Assist with case management, legal research and document preparation.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliant, timely advice.
- Uphold confidentiality and professional standards in all duties.
