Our experienced Planning and Environmental team has a strong track record for providing the very best legal advice across a range of planning and environmental issues. It is nationally recognised in both Chambers and Partners, Legal 500, and the Planning Magazine’s top planning practices. The team is headed by Claire Petricca-Riding, named as one of the top 100 leading environmental practitioners in the UK by ENDS Power List.

The team has considerable experience across sectors including development—commercial, residential, retirement living, education, retail, logistics, manufacturing, and waste management.

Recent activities include:

1. Complex Section 106 Agreements for multi-use residential developments
2. Due diligence reporting for re-financing major property portfolios
3. Judicial review of mining schemes
4. Handling complex planning enforcement issues for luxury residential developments
5. Advising on major brownfield redevelopments for city centre regeneration
6. Guidance to a port group on environmental liability and damage
7. Assistance to a PLC in environmental liability during acquisitions of fuel businesses
8. Representing a waste organisation in an odour nuisance claim
9. Representing a wood recycler in an investigation by the Environment Agency
10. Advising a PBSA developer on university campus regeneration
11. Environmental due diligence and statutory agreement negotiations for a large PRS developer

The team covers both planning and environmental matters. As a Paralegal, you will support Solicitors in delivering quality legal advice and services to clients.

This role is based in Crawley, Chichester, Manchester, Brighton, or Liverpool.
