Geldards LLP is a leading regional law firm with offices in Cardiff, Derby, Nottingham, and London. We are currently recruiting a paralegal to join our Education team in our London Office.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to work alongside Solicitors, providing legal advice and guidance to commercial clients in an effective and cost-efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist fee earners with projects.
  • Demonstrate a knowledge and skill level appropriate to your experience.
  • Follow the Firm’s internal processes on time recording, billing, credit control, and compliance.
  • Perform other reasonable responsibilities as appropriate to the grade and role.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
  • A law degree is highly desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions to meet the Firm's goals.
  • Presentable and professional appearance for client-facing situations (e.g., ID collection, witnessing documents).
  • Strong client care skills with the ability to project a professional image and confidently interact with clients.
  • Excellent communication skills—courteous, friendly, personable, helpful, and professional when dealing with clients by phone.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in using initiative.
  • Ability to manage a large caseload and work under pressure with high attention to detail.
  • Strong team player with initiative and self-motivation.
