An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Paralegal for their Court of Protection department. Role: Paralegal - Court of Protection
Reports to: Department Manager
Office base: Wigan, WN3 5BA
Hybrid:2 days in the office per week
Hours: 35 hours per week
We have an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal within our Court of Protection & Community Care department supporting Solicitors with health and welfare cases. You will have the opportunity to work in a busy and fast paced environment whilst getting involved in cutting edge legal work.
The team is in a period of growth and Stephensons supports several routes to qualification (including graduate apprenticeships, SQE / LPC and training contracts). There is a clear focus on development of existing staff to progress at StephensonsThe role:
You will work under the supervision of the team to assist in the preparation of cases, including attendance at meetings, court hearings, and face to face meetings with clients in care homes and other care settings.
A period of training at our Wigan office will be required for the successful candidate with the opportunity for home working once the period of training is complete.
