Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Barnsley is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal to join our busy legal team. This role focuses on residential conveyancing, supporting fee earners from instruction to completion in a fast-paced environment.

You will handle day-to-day file management, liaise with clients, solicitors, lenders and third parties, prepare documents, conduct property searches and help ensure deadlines are met while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within residential conveyancing or as a conveyancing assistant.
• Experience as a Paralegal, Conveyancing Assistant, Legal Assistant or similar.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Confident communication and client care skills.
• Ability to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines.
• Proactive approach and willingness to learn and develop.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the day-to-day management of residential conveyancing files.
• Supporting fee earners throughout transactions from instruction through to completion.
• Preparing and reviewing legal documentation.
• Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, lenders and other third parties.
• Carrying out property searches and reviewing relevant documentation.
• Assisting with enquiries and responding to client and third-party queries.
• Preparing files for exchange and completion.
• Maintaining accurate case records and ensuring key dates and deadlines are met.
• Providing general legal and administrative support to the wider conveyancing team.

Salary: £24,000-£27,000 per annum, depending on experience

The Role
