Job summary

Clyde & Co in Belfast is seeking a proactive candidate to join our claims team. Based in our Belfast office, you will support our lawyers and Partners with the management of claims, liaising with clients nationally and coordinating documentation.

You will gain exposure to liability enquiries, medical records review, witness statements, and bundles, in a modern, flexible environment that supports ongoing development.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to strict deadlines.
  • Previous experience in a similar legal setting is required.
  • Knowledge of the litigation process would be useful.

Responsibilities

The Team

Our team covers a wide range of litigation including motor, disease, employers liability and public liability claims.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding team within our multi-award-winning firm.

The role is based in our Belfast office and requires regular communication with clients nationally.

We have a collaborative, supportive team working in a modern, flexible environment.

The Role

Your role will involve assisting our lawyers and Partners with all aspects of the day to day management of claims, everything from assisting with liability enquiries, obtaining and reviewing medical records and reports, drafting witness statements, preparing instructions to Experts and Counsel, preparing Counsel/Court bundles and any general admin duties.

Essential Skills & Experience

Applicants must have excellent communication and organisational skills, along with the ability to work well under pressure and to strict deadlines. Although not essential, knowledge of the litigation process would be useful.

Previous experience in a similar legal setting is required.
