Job summary

Venn Group are seeking an experienced Residential Property Paralegal to join their Bristol team. The role requires a solid understanding of conveyancing and meticulous organisation.

You will handle client instructions, prepare contract packs, obtain searches, liaise with clients, agents and lenders, and manage file updates with precision. A supportive culture and clear development opportunities await you in this role.

Responsibilities

• dealing with new client instructions.
• dealing with estimates, client care, source of funds and onboarding
• issuing Contract Packs
• obtaining searches
• liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers, lenders, other solicitors and third parties by phone and email.
• dealing with post exchange work
• preparing completion statements
• dealing with completions and obtaining mortgage funds and sending funds
• dealing with post completion work
• dealing with registrations & SDLT returns
• monitoring key dates, deadlines and transaction milestones.
• providing regular updates to clients and respond promptly to enquiries.
• maintaining accurate records on the firm’s case management system.
• ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with firm procedures, professional standards and relevant regulations

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for an experienced property Paralegal or Legal Assistant to join the Bristol team ideally with at least 2-years' experience working in a law firm in residential property. Exceptional personal skills are required, alongside strong organisational and time-management skills and excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

The ideal candidate will know the Conveyancing process from start to finish and will have experience in:

• dealing with new client instructions.
