Job summary

Thompsons Solicitors in Newcastle is seeking a Paralegal to join the Professional Regulation and Criminal Law team. You will support clients through regulatory and professional disciplinary matters, managing a varied caseload with supervision and guidance.

You will take ownership of your cases, provide client advice, liaise with regulators and help progress matters to resolution. The role emphasises strong organisation, attention to detail and a proactive approach to delivering excellent client

You’ll ideally have:

• Previous paralegal or legal administration experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
• The confidence to build relationships with clients and external contacts
• A proactive approach and a willingness to learn
• An interest in regulatory law

Experience in criminal law or inquest work is advantageous, but not essential. We welcome applications from candidates with transferable legal experience who are eager to develop their knowledge and expertise in this specialist area.
