Job summary

As we continue to grow both in the UK and internationally, we're looking for a Paralegal to join our collaborative Legal team and play a key role in supporting the business across a broad range of legal, compliance and governance matters.

Qualifications

• Previous in-house legal experience.
• Experience within a recruitment business would be advantageous but not essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong written communication skills.
• Confidence reviewing and understanding commercial contracts.
• Collaborative and approachable style with strong stakeholder management skills.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to balance legal risk with business objectives.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive, adaptable attitude and willingness to take ownership of your work.

Responsibilities

• Manage and triage the legal inbox, ensuring queries are dealt with promptly and effectively.
• Review and support commercial contracts and agreements.
• Assist with the implementation of new processes and legal best practices.
• Handle day-to-day legal administration and operational matters.
• Support litigation, dispute resolution and intellectual property matters, including trademarks.
• Assist with compliance and data protection initiatives.
• Support corporate governance and company secretarial activities.
• Build strong relationships across the business and act as a key point of contact for legal support.
• Help drive efficiency and continuous improvement within the legal function.

The Opportunity:

Working closely with our General Counsel, you'll provide support across commercial contracts, governance, compliance, data protection, disputes and day-to-day legal operations. You'll become a trusted partner to stakeholders across the business, helping ensure legal requests are handled efficiently while contributing to the continued growth and development of the function.
