About the role
The Paralegal will be focused on working on matters for a single client of the firm. This client is a global and expanding business and Lewis Silkin (in collaboration with our Ius Laboris colleagues) will be responsible for providing employment and immigration support around the world. The paralegal will be actively involved in UK matters and will also be involved in obtaining, co-ordinating and tracking international advice. In addition, the paralegal will also be responsible for financial reporting and billing.
Key duties and responsibilities
The paralegal will provide support to the client team in both a fee-earning and a relationship management capacity.
About you
Candidates will have excellent academics along with legal qualifications or previous legal experience. Candidates will also have IT, numeracy, practical and analytical skills, a clear communication style (both spoken and written), and above all, must be a team player with a passion to work with a fast-paced professional and friendly team.
The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills and enjoy working in an involved team environment. They must be highly organised and have a flexible nature, and a co-operative and willing attitude. Prior experience and knowledge of Employment work would be advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.
