HCR is seeking a Paralegal to join its award-winning Corporate Healthcare team based in either Worcester or Birmingham. The role involves assisting on corporate matters within healthcare, including M&A, equity investments, and shareholder agreements.

You will support a busy team and work on tasks from research to drafting documents, while ensuring GDPR compliance. The ideal candidate will be a proactive team player with strong communication and organisational skills, holding an LLB (LPC

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Undertaking legal research, using appropriate methods and sourcing, presenting the results in an accurate and timely manner.

• Ensure all work complies with risk management policies and procedures, in line with GDPR.
• Provide legal support to the team and act as a legal resource, providing help where required.
• Diary management for the team, ensuring all deadlines are met in a timely manner.
• Undertaking legal processes, under supervision, such as routine file management.
• Take an active role with the Paralegal and Trainee group and attend networking events or careers fairs.
• Promote the firm and department through social media channels such as LinkedIn, X and Facebook.

About The Role

We have a very exciting opportunity for a Paralegal to join our award winning Corporate Healthcare team, which can be based either in our Worcester HQ office or Birmingham office.

This team works with businesses, business owners, shareholders and investors within the healthcare sector, advising on a wide range of corporate matters (including mergers and acquisitions, equity investments and shareholder agreements). This team is collaborative and busy in nature, meaning the successful candidate will be surrounded by experts in the field who believe in the development of the department. This is an exciting time to join this team for someone who is keen to dive into the healthcare sector.

The Paralegal role objective is to undertake routine legal tasks including:

• Undertaking legal research, using appropriate methods and sourcing, presenting the results in an accurate and timely manner.
• Drafting legal documents using appropriate precedents and templates.
