Job summary

HCR, a Times Top 50 law firm with a strong private client practice, is recruiting a private client associate to join its Worcester office. You will manage wills, estate administration, probate, trusts and powers of attorney, handling a varied caseload with support from senior colleagues.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years PQE in private client, strong drafting and client relationship skills, and a willingness to pursue STEP qualification.

About The Role

Our nationally recognised private client team is looking to recruit a private client associate to join it’s supportive and collaborative private client team in Worcester.

AS one of the largest private client teams in the UK, we advise a broad range of clients, including HNW individuals, business owners, agricultural clients, private family trusts and families across multiple generations.

You’ll manage a varied caseload covering wills, estate administration, probate, trusts and powers of attorney, working closely with experienced colleagues on complex and rewarding matters.

We are looking for someone with atleast 3 years’ PQE who can confidently manage their own caseload, build strong client relationships and become a trusted member of the team from day one. This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer who enjoys responsibility, takes pride in delivering exceptional client service and is looking to continue developing their career within a highly respected practice.

Based in our long-established Worcester office, you’ll join a close knit team that values collaboration, knowledge sharing and genuine support. You’ll have access to high quality work, clear progression opportunity and the backing of one of the country’s leading private client practices.

Alongside your technical work, you’ll be encouraged to contribute to business development activities and build relationships within the firm and across the wider professional community.

Ideally you will be STEP qualified or working towards this, although we support lawyers looking to progress so you will need to be willing to undertake this.

About You

You will need:
