About The Role

Due to internal promotion, we have a vacancy for a Paper Machine Operator working 12-hour shifts following a 4-on/4-off shift pattern. Within the role you will be responsible for an area of the paper making operation where you will contribute to maintaining maximum production of the machine in line with customer specifications and key performance indicators.

What You Will Do

You will be responsible for operating the machinery in your assigned area where you will execute all operational tasks with excellence and adhere to all documented procedures, while being responsible for keeping your area clean and well organised. You will have accountability for quality checks in your responsible area and you will follow internal processes to ensure all product test criteria is met. Within the role you will record any tasks completed in the daily management system and execute any scheduled maintenance activities set out by your team leader.

Who are you?

  • Experienced: You have a background in the FMCG industry and are proactive in using H&S practices. Your experience will be invaluable in maintaining high safety standards.
  • Problem Solver: You enjoy troubleshooting and finding root causes of issues. Your problem-solving skills will help keep operations running smoothly.
  • Detail-Oriented: You communicate effectively and ensure your work is accurate. Your attention to detail will be key in maintaining quality and efficiency.
