Job summary

Tony Pugal Recruitment Ltd. on behalf of a growing electronics manufacturer in Leeds is seeking an Electronic Assembly Operative. The role involves assembling components, building panels and wiring panels and sub-assemblies to exacting standards.

You will read schematics, diagnose faults, perform preventative maintenance and ensure health and safety compliance. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 07:00–15:00, in a daytime shift near Leeds.

• Assembling components

• Ensuring that all parts are fitted correctly
• Interpreting technical documents such as schematics
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and performing repairs
• Performing preventative maintenance, reporting and resolving assembly issues
• Adhering to the health and safety requirements of the company and industry
• Conserving resources and supplies to facilitate minimum waste
