Job summary

Straight-Line Group Services Ltd is seeking an experienced Panel Wirer to join its Birmingham City Centre production team. You will wire and assemble products from lighting units to complex control panels for defence and industrial applications, ensuring quality and on-time delivery.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will work both independently and as part of a skilled manufacturing team, reading GA drawings and wiring schematics to produce high-spec electrical assemblies with attention

Qualifications

• Proven experience wiring control panels.
• Strong point-to-point wiring experience.
• Experience with crimping and soldering.
• Able to read GA drawings and schematics.
• Experience in electrical assembly and cable routing.
• Capable of working independently and managing workload.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities

• Wire and assemble electrical products, from light fittings to control cabinets and distribution panels.
• Carry out point-to-point wiring, cable routing, crimping, soldering, and cable termination.
• Read GA drawings, wiring schematics, and mechanical drawings.
• Complete mechanical and electrical assembly to a high standard.
• Use hand tools and workshop equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all work meets company quality standards and production requirements.
