HP4 RECRUITMENT LTD in Ipswich is seeking a skilled Panel Technician for a busy automotive bodyshop. The role focuses on repairing accident-damaged vehicles to pre-accident condition, using specialist tools and strict quality standards.

You will work Monday to Friday, with competitive hourly rates and long-term stability, offering opportunities for career progression within a professional environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Panel Technician/Panel Beater/Body Repair Technician.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle body repair techniques.
• Experience repairing accident-damaged vehicles.
• Good understanding of vehicle structures and repair methods.
• Ability to work to high standards of quality and efficiency.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out high-quality panel repairs on a range of vehicles.
• Assess accident damage and determine the appropriate repair methods.
• Repair, replace and align damaged body panels.
• Carry out welding and structural repairs where required.
• Use specialist bodyshop tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Ensure panels are correctly aligned and fitted.
• Work closely with MET Technicians and Paint Technicians throughout the repair process.
• Complete repairs in line with manufacturer and industry standards.
• Accurately complete job cards and repair documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
