Job summary

An established accident repair specialist in Liverpool is seeking a skilled Panel Technician to join their team. The role involves repairing vehicles to high standards, ensuring customer satisfaction and safety compliance. Ideal candidates will be IMI/ATA qualified with robust bodyshop experience and a commitment to quality service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

• Carry out repair operation to prescribed methods and standards.
• Work to times and standards dictated by insurance guidelines and company policy.
• Repair damaged areas using body filler and 180-grade production paper.
• Keep a comprehensive list of additional parts required.
• Understand Health and Safety and COSHH requirements related to the role.

CORE DUITES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF A PANEL TECHNICIAN

• Carry out repair operation to prescribed methods and standards.
• At all times as and when possible work to times and standards as dictated by, Thatcham, Insurance company guidelines, Manufacturers standard and company policy
• Repair all areas of damage repaired using body filler to finished using a 180-grade production paper
• Keep accurate and comprehensive list of additional parts required, and communicate these findings to the relevant departments
• Become familiar with Health and Safety and COSHH requirements that relate to your function

ABOUT YOU:

• Ideally, you will be an IMI/ATA qualified Panel Technician with strong Bodyshop experience.
• You have a strong work ethic to provide the best quality service.
• You are a team-player.
• You will have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
• You are committed to delivering an excellent customer service.
• Ideally, you will hold a full UK driving license.
