Job summary

Tru Talent is seeking a skilled Panel Beater MET Technician for a state-of-the-art bodyshop in Lincolnshire. You will repair damaged vehicles to manufacturer specifications using advanced equipment and techniques, with a valid ATA/ NVQ/ IMI or equivalent qualification.

In this busy accident repair centre you will remove, repair and replace panels, carry out strip and fit operations, perform geometry checks and 4-wheel alignment, and ensure repairs meet industry standards.

Qualifications

• Recognised apprenticeship and relevant technical qualification (NVQ, VCQ, SVQ, ATA, IMI, or equivalent).
• Previous experience as Panel Beater/MET Technician in a busy bodyshop environment.
• Strong knowledge of panel repair, strip and fit, mechanical and electrical repairs.

Responsibilities

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced accident repair centre.
• Remove, repair and replace damaged panels and structural components.
• Carry out strip and fit operations and diagnostic work as needed.
• Perform geometry checks and 4-wheel alignment.
• Maintain quality inspections to meet manufacturer standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely repairs and a clean, safe workspace.
