Job summary

Fix Auto Wigan, part of Allied Vehicles Group, is seeking an experienced Panel Beater to join our busy bodyshop in Wigan. You will prepare and refinishing damaged vehicles to a high standard and deliver efficient, professional repairs for customers’ vehicles.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 7am–4pm, with a competitive package and on-target earnings up to £80,000 per year. We offer excellent benefits and a supportive environment within a long‑standing automotive group.

Qualifications

• A recognised qualification or NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Body Repair.
• 2
• ATA – Senior Panel accreditation is preferable but not essential.
• Previous experience in vehicle body repair.
• Strong teamwork, time management, and organisational skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.

Responsibilities

• As per job card remove, replace or repair car body panels including bonnet, wings, doors, bumpers and lamps.
• Re-fit new or repaired car body panels including bonnet, wings, doors, bumpers and lamps.
• Alignment and re-fit of renewed body panels.
• Various welding duties including MIG, Spot and Brazening welding techniques.
• Removal and re-fit of mechanical and suspension parts such as radiators, A/C, steering and suspension components.
