Job summary

AutoSkills (United Kingdom) in Northwich is seeking an experienced Panel Beater for a full-time, permanent role. You will repair vehicle bodywork to high standards, using specialist tools, and work Monday to Friday with flexible start times.

The role offers a basic salary of £40,000–£45,000 with an OTE of £50,000+, with a 40-hour week and opportunities to develop in an automotive accident repair environment.

Qualifications

• Recognised apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Body Repair (NVQ / IMI / SVQ / ATA), with an ongoing commitment to continuous professional development.
• Previous experience working as a Panel Beater, Panel Technician or Vehicle Body Repair Technician.
• Confident repairing damaged panels and replacing body components.
• Able to use body repair tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality repairs.
• Able to manage workload efficiently while maintaining repair standards.
• Reliable, motivated and able to work effectively independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Repairing, reshaping and replacing damaged body panels.
• Removing and refitting components as necessary to complete repairs.
• Using appropriate tools and equipment to carry out vehicle body repairs.
• Ensuring panel alignment, fit and finish meet the required standards.
• Completing repairs efficiently without compromising workmanship.
• Following health and safety procedures and maintaining a clean, organised workspace.
