Qualifications

• Proven experience in vehicle body repairs, painting, and panel work.
• Full UK driving licence with minimal points is essential.
• Recognised qualification in automotive Panel Beating or Paint Spraying is preferred; IMI qualification considered.

Responsibilities

• Repair and replace damaged or compromised bodywork panels with precision and care.
• Conduct painting, prepping, and polishing of vehicle surfaces to manufacturer standards.
• Perform chassis and framework repairs efficiently and accurately.
• Carry out welding and panel bonding as required.
• Repair bumpers and doors, ensuring high quality and durability.
• Undertake mechanical and electrical repairs adhering to safety and quality standards.
• Replace mechanical parts and strip and refit vehicle components with confidence.
• Work under pressure to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of workmanship.

Duties as aPanel Beater / Paint Sprayer:

• Liaise effectively with colleagues and support team during busy periods

Requirements

• Recognised qualification in automotive Panel Beating or Paint Spraying is preferred; Panel Beaters / Paint Sprayers working towards an IMI qualification will also be considered
• Proven experience in vehicle body repairs, painting, and panel work
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Good understanding of vehicle repair standards and safety procedures
• A full UK driving license with minimal points is essential
