Job summary

Activate Group is seeking a Panel Beater to join the Activate Accident Repair Birmingham team in Mallard Lodge, Water Orton, Birmingham. You will be responsible for completing body work, stripping and refitting trim, and repairing damaged panels on accident-damaged vehicles.

The role requires ATA/NVQ Level 3, strong communication, decision-making and time management skills, and relevant repair technician experience. Training and progression opportunities are offered within a growing UK business.

Qualifications

• ATA/NVQ Level 3 qualification.
• Good communication and problem solving skills.
• Experience as a repair technician with time served.

Responsibilities

• Repair and panel damaged vehicles to pre-accident condition in accordance with approved Repair Methodology and manufacturers standards.
• Use specialist body repair equipment – measuring equipment, body jigs, welding equipment and smart repair tools.
• Ensure that vehicles comply with safety standards when returned to customers, or that faults have been reported and noted on job card.
