You will repair damaged vehicle bodywork and replace panels as required, following repair procedures to meet high-quality standards. The job operates Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week with flexible start times between 7:00am and 6:00pm, providing a stable schedule and generous ETE

Qualifications

• Requires an apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Body Repair with ongoing professional development.
• Experience as Panel Beater/Panel Technician/Vehicle Body Repair Technician.
• Ability to repair damaged panels and replace body components.

Responsibilities

• Assess vehicle damage and identify repairs required.
• Repair, reshape and replace damaged body panels.
• Remove and refit components as needed to complete repairs.
• Use tools and equipment to carry out body repairs.
• Ensure panel alignment, fit and finish meet standards.

THE ROLE

As a Panel Beater / Panel Technician, you'll be responsible for repairing damaged vehicle bodywork and replacing panels or components where required. You'll need to work accurately, follow appropriate repair procedures and ensure completed repairs meet the required quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assessing vehicle damage and identifying the repairs required.
• Repairing, reshaping and replacing damaged body panels.
• Removing and refitting components as necessary to complete repairs.
• Using appropriate tools and equipment to carry out vehicle body repairs.
• Ensuring panel alignment, fit and finish meet the required standards.
• Completing repairs efficiently without compromising workmanship.

ABOUT YOU

• Recognised apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Body Repair (NVQ / IMI / SVQ / ATA), with an ongoing commitment to continuous professional development.
• Previous experience working as a Panel Beater, Panel Technician or Vehicle Body Repair Technician.
• Confident repairing damaged panels and replacing body components.
• Able to use body repair tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality repairs.
• Able to manage workload efficiently while maintaining repair standards.
• Reliable, motivated and able to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
