Opportunity to work within a modern and well-equipped accident repair centreDuties of a Panel Beater:
- Carry out high-quality vehicle body repairs, including panel replacement
- Conduct chassis and framework repairs to ensure safety and structural integrity
- Accurately assess vehicle damage to determine repair methods
- Complete bumper and door repairs as necessary
- Ensure all repairs meet internal and third-party quality standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Work efficiently to meet repair deadlines and productivity targets
- Collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure smooth workshop operations
Requirements of a Panel Beater
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Panel Beater / Panel Technician is essential
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification is desirable
- Strong hands-on experience will be considered in lieu of formal qualifications
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to work efficiently whilst maintaining high standards
- Strong communication and team working skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- ATA accreditation would be highly advantageous
- Experience working to BSI 10125 standards is beneficial
- Full UK driving licence with minimal points
