Job summary

Streamline Search Ltd. is seeking an experienced Panel Beater to join a well-established, family-run accident repair business in Havant. The role offers a steady workload with additional overtime in the evenings and weekends, and a chance to work with a small, cohesive team.

Candidates with Paint Spraying experience would be particularly desirable, and the position is full-time and permanent with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Panel Beater in an accident repair centre or bodyshop.
• Strong skills in repairing and reshaping damaged vehicle bodywork.
• Experience removing, repairing and replacing vehicle panels.
• Good knowledge of panel repair techniques, tools and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and maintain high standards of workmanship.
• Reliable and flexible approach to work.
• Own tools are beneficial, although some tools are available on site.
• Paint Spraying experience would be an advantage.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair dents and damage to vehicle body panels following accidents.
• Straighten, reshape and repair damaged panels, including doors, wings, bonnets and quarter panels.
• Remove and replace damaged panels where necessary.
• Use specialist tools and equipment to carry out high-quality panel repairs.
• Carry out welding and panel alignment where required.
• Identify additional damage during the repair process and report any issues.
• Ensure all repairs are completed to a high standard.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment.
• Work effectively as part of a small, close-knit bodyshop team.
• Assist with Paint Spraying duties where experienced and required.

Location: Havant, Hampshire

Hours: Monday - Friday, 07:30 - 17:00 (30-minute lunch break)

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Pay Rate: £18 - £20 per hour (DOE)

About the Role

We are recruiting an experienced Panel Beater to join a well-established, family-run accident repair business in Havant.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a close-knit team of approximately 10 people, with a consistent workload and plenty of overtime available during evenings and weekends.

Candidates with additional Paint Spraying experience would be particularly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Repair dents and damage to vehicle body panels following accidents
