Job summary

JM Selection Ltd is recruiting a skilled Panel Beater to join a busy bodyshop in Greater London. You will repair damaged vehicle panels to manufacturer standards and ensure high-quality finishes and safe repairs.

Role involves welding, panel pulling, straightening chassis, and liaising with paint team to maintain smooth workflow; full UK driving licence required; ATA/NVQ in Vehicle Body Repair is desirable.

Qualifications

• Must have proven experience as a Panel Beater in a bodyshop.
• Experience welding, pulling and structural repairs.
• Ability to follow manufacturer repair methods.
• Full UK driving licence.
• ATA/NVQ in Vehicle Body Repair is desirable.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Repairing and replacing damaged panels on a range of vehicles.
• Removing and refitting body panels, trims, and components.
• Straightening chassis and panels using jig and pulling equipment.
• Welding, filling, grinding, and preparing panels for paint.
• Ensuring all repairs meet safety and quality standards.
• Working efficiently to meet turnaround time targets.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Liaising with paint preppers and paint technicians to ensure smooth workflow.
• Following job cards and repair specifications accurately.

• ATA/NVQ qualification in Vehicle Body Repair (desirable but not essential)
• Full UK driving licence
