Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in Crewe is seeking a mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing team. The role is ~70% mechanical and ~30% electrical, maintaining a range of production machinery to keep environments safe, reliable and operational.

The position covers planned and reactive maintenance on conveyors, pumps, hydraulics and injection/blow moulding gear, operating on a rotating Panama shift with 12-hour days and two weekends off monthly.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent must have been achieved.
• Strong mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Good understanding of electrical maintenance and fault finding.

Responsibilities

• Planned and reactive maintenance of production machinery and equipment.
• Mechanical fault finding, repair and preventative maintenance.
• Maintenance of pumps, valves and hydraulic systems; belts, chains and bearings.
