Farleigh Hospice in mid Essex is seeking a motivated Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Unit, delivering expert specialist palliative care within a multidisciplinary team. The role includes caring for patients with malignant and non-malignant life-limiting illnesses, symptom control, and end-of-life support, with a 7-day week rota.

Qualificações

• Experience in end of life and palliative care or related disciplines.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage emotional responses.
• Proficiency with IT systems and software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office 365, EPRs).

Responsabilidades

• Provide clinical care, navigation, coordination and support to hospice patients and families.
• Offer information, psychosocial and spiritual care to patients and carers.
• Maintain effective communication with staff, patients and families by various means.
• Collaborate with MDT to share caseload and ensure timely, coordinated care.
• Support training and mentoring of staff across the MDT.
• Promote quality improvement and liaise with external partners.
