Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current NMC registration.
• Experience delivering palliative care in an in-patient setting.
• Proficient with EMIS electronic patient management system.
• Familiar with Ashtons electronic patient management system.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality palliative nursing care in the in-patient unit.
• Communicate with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure best patient care.
• Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and carers.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of patient information.
