Job summary

Harrogate District NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Specialty Doctor in Palliative Care to join the 0.6 WTE post. The role will primarily operate in the community, supporting Macmillan Community Palliative Care Clinical Nurse Specialists while managing a small caseload.

Occasional hospital-based cross-cover is required to maintain service continuity. The post requires relevant experience, a commitment to service development in PEoLC, and a willingness to educate colleagues and support related

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in palliative care is required.
• Willingness to deliver education and support PEoLC research.
• Advocate for system-wide PEoLC development.

Responsibilities

• Work predominantly in the community to support Macmillan Community Palliative Care Clinical Nurse Specialists.
• Cross-cover for the hospital-based service as required.
