Job summary
The Myton Hospices in Coventry and surrounding areas seeks an experienced healthcare leader to guide the Patient & Carer Wellbeing and Community Support Services. You will oversee Registered Nurses, Nursing Assistants, a Clinical Administrator, trained Volunteers, and a Community Support Services Manager.
You will work across multidisciplinary teams and external partners, ensuring services stay responsive to local need and undertake clinical duties as part of your work plan to drive service
Qualifications
- Post-registration Palliative Care qualification or equivalent experience.
- Experience leading a team and managing change.
- Experience in palliative care or community settings with needs assessment / care planning.
- Ability to place the patient and family at the centre of care.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organisation and time management abilities.
- Right to work in the UK; sponsorship cannot be provided.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership for Registered Nurses, Nursing Assistants and the wider team.
- Develop and implement patient- and family-centred care within community services.
