Woking & Sam Beare Hospice are pleased to announce the following position:

Clinical Nurse Specialist (Band 7)

We are a patient-centred charity delivering palliative and end-of-life care to thousands each year in Northwest Surrey, supporting patients, families, and carers in inpatient, community, and care settings.

You will join a dedicated team making a real difference across Surrey.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing specialist knowledge in caring for patients with life-limiting illnesses and sharing this expertise with the healthcare team.
  • Managing your own caseload independently.
  • Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
  • Offering symptom control, social, emotional, and spiritual support.
  • Monitoring and adjusting care plans to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Delivering high standards of care and supporting junior staff.
  • Collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse
  • Degree or Master’s qualification
  • Management/Leadership training
  • UK Registration
  • Disclosure and Barring Service Check

This role requires a Disclosure to the DBS due to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
