Job summary

St Margaret’s Hospice Care in Taunton is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join our in-patient team on a full-time basis. You will provide compassionate, patient-centered care to those with life-limiting illness and support families as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualified to Level 2 in Health and Social Care, you will work a 37.5-hour week on a rotational schedule. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for development within a caring, community-focused charity.

Qualifications

• Qualified to Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
• Proven ability to provide patient-centered care.
• Willingness to work across a 24-hour rota with flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist palliative care that is patient-centered and holistic.
• Offer support and guidance to families, carers and bereaved relatives.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team under registered staff guidance.
