Responsibilities
- Adhere to all safety rules of Berry Global and the Logistics team.
- Learn, understand, and apply technical skills to troubleshoot the auto palletizer.
- Maintain the palletizing area in 5S condition daily.
- Exhibit professional conduct at all times.
- Report and correct unsafe or potentially unsafe conditions.
- React quickly, accurately, and safely during downtime until the system is operational.
- Effectively communicate issues with the Automated Palletizer to the Maintenance Team.
- Monitor and notify the LS group of needed items.
- Assist in transporting products to the injection printing area (P00).
- Complete print room processes, including applying all necessary labels.
- Follow all ISO/SQF guidelines and policies.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and computer skills with the ability to multitask.
- Stereoptic vision of 20/40 or better and peripheral vision of 70 degrees or greater.
- Sufficient hearing to recognize warnings, alarms, and horns.
- Ability to lift at least 35 pounds up to 60 times per hour.
- Ability to stand and walk for a minimum of 7 hours during an 8-hour shift.
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
Authorities
- Understand and apply Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures when required.
- Read and understand online schedules and Profile Data Entry.
- Properly set up new pallet orientations.
- Ensure scrap is properly discarded in designated bins.
