Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety rules of Berry Global and the Logistics team.
• Learn, understand, and apply technical skills to troubleshoot the auto palletizer.
• Maintain the palletizing area in 5S condition daily.
• Exhibit professional conduct at all times.
• Report and correct unsafe or potentially unsafe conditions.
• React quickly, accurately, and safely during downtime until the system is operational.
• Effectively communicate issues with the Automated Palletizer to the Maintenance Team.
• Monitor and notify the LS group of needed items.
• Assist in transporting products to the injection printing area (P00).
• Complete print room processes, including applying all necessary labels.
• Follow all ISO/SQF guidelines and policies.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and computer skills with the ability to multitask.
• Stereoptic vision of 20/40 or better and peripheral vision of 70 degrees or greater.
• Sufficient hearing to recognize warnings, alarms, and horns.
• Ability to lift at least 35 pounds up to 60 times per hour.
• Ability to stand and walk for a minimum of 7 hours during an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.

Authorities

• Understand and apply Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures when required.
• Read and understand online schedules and Profile Data Entry.
• Properly set up new pallet orientations.
• Ensure scrap is properly discarded in designated bins.
