Job Title: Painting & Decorating Lecturer

Join us at John Ruskin College as a Painting & Decorating Lecturer. We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring individual to join our Construction department, delivering teaching and learning to students across Levels 1-2.

Position Details

• Type: Full-time, Salaried
• Location: East Surrey College - Redhill
• Salary Range: £28,244 - £40,113 (may include market supplement based on qualifications, skills, and experience)
• Closing Date: 09/06/2025

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching to students in Painting & Decorating at Levels 1-2
• Act as a personal tutor and course leader for Level 2 students
• Promote attendance and participation in college activities
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to curriculum development
• Assess students' work and support their progress

Candidate Requirements

• Full teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, DTTLS, Cert Ed)
• Qualified to teach up to Level 3 in Painting & Decorating
• Experience teaching Level 1-3 courses, ideally within Further Education
• Industry experience in Painting & Decorating
• Experience delivering Apprenticeships is desirable
