Job summary

Futures Housing Group is seeking a Painter Decorator & General Duties Operative to carry out internal and external decoration across properties and communal areas. The role includes damp and mould treatment and ensuring works comply with health and safety standards.

You will hold an apprenticeship or NVQ Level 2 in painting, with knowledge of COSHH, and a valid UK driving licence to operate a company van. The role offers a stable schedule and benefits.

Qualifications

• Formal painting apprenticeship or equivalent (City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2)
• Experience in internal and external decoration
• Working knowledge of health & safety and COSHH regulations

Responsibilities

• Undertake internal and external decoration of properties and communal areas
• Attend damp, mould and condensation jobs and treat affected areas
• Assess causes of DMC issues and report potential solutions; inspect lofts as needed
• Carry out works to alleviate future DMC and loft insulation tasks
