Job summary

IMH Recruitment is looking for skilled Painter and Decorators to join their team in Sheffield. This role offers 37 hours a week, Monday through Friday, and competitive pay between £15.08 and £16.70 per hour.

IMH Recruitment are looking for reliable Painter and Decorators to work on behalf of our client based in Sheffield!

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating beautiful finishes and will be responsible for applying paint, varnish, and other finishes to various surfaces. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A valid driving licence is preferred as the role may involve travelling to different job sites.

Responsibilities

• Working in repairs and maintenance service within the damp and mould / disrepair work stream.
• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
• Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with project specifications.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project progress and requirements.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

Experience

• Proven experience in painting or a related field is highly desirable.
• NVQ Level 2 in Painting & Decorating

Hours & Pay:

• Monday - Friday (Normally working between the hours of 8am-4pm)
• 37 Hours per week
• 15.08 - 16.70 Per hour.
