Job description

We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator on behalf of our client to work within the damp, mould, and condensation team, carrying out mould treatments throughout the Borough on a temporary contract until September.

A driving license and use of own vehicle are required for this role. The successful candidate will be responsible for decoration, both internal and external, of properties and public buildings.

Key Responsibilities

1. Ensure client or tenant satisfaction regarding quality of work, prompt service, and conduct wherever work is carried out.
2. Maintain and promote a favourable business image.
3. Ensure all relevant records, such as timesheets, are completed correctly as per existing procedures.
4. Stay updated on technological developments within the trade.

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience as a Painter and Decorator in social housing, construction, or maintenance setting.
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Painter and Decorator or equivalent qualification.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Must hold an Enhanced DBS check.
• Must have a full clean driving license and use of a vehicle.

Working Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm.
